  • Communications: Emails, text messages, voicemails, and other correspondence you send us.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit or interact with our Website or advertisements, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and click activity.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate the Website, measure performance, and deliver relevant advertising. See Section 6.
  • Approximate location: Derived from your IP address, used to tailor content and ensure we operate lawfully in your jurisdiction.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • Public records: We may enrich the information you provide with data from public sources including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) SAFER, MCS-150, and Licensing & Insurance databases; the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings of various Secretaries of State; court records; and similar government data.
  • Advertising and marketing platforms: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and other advertising platforms may provide us with anonymized or aggregated information about how users interact with our ads.
  • Lead generation partners: If you submit information through a partner's site, lead form, or referral channel, that partner may share your information with us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries, phone calls, emails, and form submissions.
  • Evaluate, underwrite, and administer factoring and related financial services.
  • Comply with federal, state, and industry obligations including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, OFAC, and the USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Verify your identity and the identity of your business.
  • Communicate with you about our Services, promotions, updates, and administrative matters.
  • Send you marketing communications by email, SMS, direct mail, or telephone (subject to your preferences and applicable law — see Section 8).
  • Operate and improve the Website, our advertising, and our Services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — including hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, identity verification, electronic signature, customer relationship management (CRM), banking, lockbox processing, collections, analytics, and customer support. These providers may only use your information as necessary to provide services to us.
  • Affiliates and partners of StratoPay in connection with providing Services, including carrier intelligence partners such as HaulScore.
  • Brokers, shippers, and debtors — when you enter a factoring relationship with us, we may notify brokers and shippers of assignment and request remittance, and we may exchange payment and dispute information with them as part of servicing the account.
  • Financial institutions and lenders involved in funding your invoices.
  • Advertising partners such as Meta and Google for the purpose of delivering and measuring advertisements. See Section 6.
  • Government agencies and regulators when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • In connection with a business transfer — if StratoPay is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent — for any purpose disclosed at the time you provide the information.

5. Lead Forms and Advertising

We run advertisements on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, YouTube, and other platforms. Some of these ads include lead forms that allow you to express interest in our Services directly from the ad.

When you submit a lead form, your information is delivered to us by the ad platform and is used for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — primarily to have a StratoPay specialist contact you about our Services. Meta and Google may retain the lead form submission on their platforms pursuant to their own privacy policies. Your information is also governed by the ad platform's privacy policy during that hand-off, which you can review here:

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Pixels

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and tracking pixels (including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our Website, measure ad performance, and deliver personalized ads across the web and in social platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and most devices allow you to opt out of cookie-based tracking. You can also opt out of Meta and Google interest-based advertising at:

Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Website.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations, and to preserve our ability to defend against legal claims. If you have an active factoring relationship with us, we retain records in accordance with applicable financial services recordkeeping rules (typically five to seven years after account closure).

8. Your Communication Preferences

  • Email: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email we send, or by emailing info@stratopay.com.
  • SMS/Text: You may stop receiving text messages by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
  • Phone: You may ask any representative to place you on our internal do-not-call list.
  • Transactional messages: Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you messages related to your account, transactions, and legal notices.

9. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from our Services.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

10.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Request that we delete your personal information, subject to exceptions permitted by law.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, as those terms are defined under California law. StratoPay does not sell personal information for money. However, some of our use of advertising cookies may qualify as "sharing" under California law; you may opt out of this cross-context behavioral advertising by adjusting the cookie controls on our Website and by using the opt-out tools listed in Section 6.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we generally do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out).
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Website and communications may contain links to websites, plug-ins, or applications we do not control. Clicking on those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of every website you visit.
